Thelma Libeer
Thelma Libeer, 89, of Plattsburg, MO passed away, September 10, 2025.
She was born on March 2, 1936 to James Monroe and Verda (Smith) Reed in Edgerton, MO and graduated from Gower High School.
Thelma lived most of her life in Plattsburg. She was a payroll clerk for many years and enjoyed dancing, traveling and flower gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Wanda White and Mary McCardie; brother, James M. Reed; infant children, Nellie Taber and Clarence Taber, Jr; and her son, John Taber.
Thelma is survived by her sons, Terry Taber and Steve (Kim) Taber; grandchildren, Samantha, Jarret, Johna, Jordan, Joshua, and Jacob; and eight great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Cindy Taber; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 15th at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gower, MO.

I was Thelma’s hospice volunteer. It was a joy to spend time with her the last few years. She was so sweet and funny and gave great hugs. I love you, Thelma! Your loved ones are in my prayers. God bless you all!
