Taylor Adkins

Taylor Adkins, 33, of Kearney, MO formerly of Gower, MO passed away, October 24, 2026.

She was born on March 11, 1993, to Charles G. Jr and Stacy (McClelland) Adkins in St. Joseph, MO. Taylor grew up in Gower and graduated from East Buchanan High School. She enjoyed playing softball on competitive teams and in high school and fishing.

She was a floor supervisor at Paradise Locker Meats and worked at Harley Davidson.

Taylor was preceded in death by grandmother, Pauline Adkins Borgmier; grandfather, David McClelland; and two brothers, Shannon Tate and Charlie Adkins.

She is survived by her parents, Chuck and Stacy Adkins; daughters, RaeLynn and Payton; bonus kids, Bryan and Zoey Pitts; partner, Ken Pitts; sisters, Jessica (Jon) Roe and Dallas Adkins (Jimmy Putnam); grandparents, Judy (Jerry) Reed; and special friends, Jerry and Kelly Phillips; nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
