What a gift it was to share Maple Drive with your family! All our parents were totally committed to ” the kids of Maple Drive”! I don’t know anyone who had the neighbors travel hundreds of miles to take a neighbor kid to college, but myself! I’ll always have loving memories of your family. Sylvia was a special person.

I have read that ‘Life is not about how you weather the storm, it is about how you dance in the rain!’. Sylvia danced beautifully in the rain. I was honored to be her friend for over 50 years. She found joy in the simple things of life – like her garden. And she spread that joy throughout her world with her smile and her laughter. She bragged on and on about her kids, grandkids and great great grandkids leaving them a beautiful legacy of love. I am grateful to her soulmate Ken, for always supporting her and her goals and bringing such love and peace to her life. There will never be another Sylvia Miller.

This is extremely sad news for our family. What a lady. Beautiful on the outside and beautiful on the inside. Kind and caring and always a lot of fun. She and Kenny are long time friends. We have had many good and fun visits through the years. She will be truly missed. Our prayers to Kenny and the rest of her wonderful family.
