I had the privilege of spending a year with Sue and her family as an exchange student, and I have always remembered that time with great affection. Sue welcomed me so warmly and generously that she made me feel truly part of the family. During that year, I also had the chance to visit quite a few places with Sue and Bill, and I have many wonderful memories of the time we spent together. I was especially touched when Sue later came all the way to Switzerland to visit me.

Although we lost contact over the years, I have never forgotten her kindness and generosity. I am thinking of Sue with great fondness and am very grateful to have known her.

My deepest condolences to all her family.

Marilyn Sue and I were first cousins. I saw her most when we were young though rarely after high school. I knew she was devoted to her husband and children and was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker. I always admired her and was proud of her and her children’s accomplishments. I always wished we could have lived closer and had more opportunities to share our lives.
I know she will be missed by her family and I hope their many wonderful memories will give them comfort and peace.
