Richard Pendleton
Richard Pendleton, 70, of Smithville, MO passed away, March 2, 2026.
He was born on April 3, 1955 to Robert and Eula Faye (Wright) Pendleton in Atlanta, GA. Richard graduated from Smithville High School in 1973.
On July 12, 1974 he was united in marriage to Irene Fletcher. After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home.
Richard worked at Kindred Chevrolet and retired as the service manager. He attended Grace Community Church in Smithville. Richard was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Eula Faye Pendleton.
Richard is survived by his wife, Irene; children, Rebecca Pendleton-Meek and husband, James and Jeffrey Pendleton and wife Becky and Samantha Pendleton; grandchildren, RJ, Izzy, and Brooke; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, March 6th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Smithville.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Smithville.
Burial: Ridgely Cemetery, Ridgely, MO.
