I worked with Paul selling furniture about 20 years ago. What a great guy! Even though he was 13 years older than me we got along really well… he had a fun, young attitude and I liked and appreciated that. He was a true guy’s guy. We had some awesome conversations and he had some great stories. A lot of good laughs and a great sense of humor. He talked a lot about his kids and he was proud of all of you. My thoughts are with his wife and kids.

Paul and I were class of ’65 Hornets. With 1111 graduates and 1400 Juniors, we didn’t really “know” each other. It wasn’t until I joined the 12th Special Forces Group Airborne (a US Army Reserve unit) that we met face to face and worked together for a number of years. Those years presented some good times. Paul was a good man. He led by example and was just and fair. I came to respect and like him. His absence will be felt. I know he will be missed. Pray that his family can adjust…and remember that he is doing fine and waiting for us to join him. Then we will have an eternity of “good times” to spend together.

Paul was friends with my brother John Hiatt in highschool. Paul and Stephanie later became friends to my sister and I. They accepted us and gave us a bit of our brother back to us through this friendship! What a sweet and loving couple they are! I am sending my love and prayers for Stephanie and their family! May God’s peace and strength give them comfort in the days and years to come!
