Mike Guyer
Michael Edward Guyer, 68, of Holt, MO passed away September 29, 2025.
He was born on September 9, 1957, to George Edward and Mary Lou (Baber) Guyer in Smithville, MO. Mike grew up in Edgerton, MO and in 1976, he graduated from North Platte High School.
In 1985 he was united in marriage to Shelly Pruitt. After their marriage they lived in Holt, MO where they built their 6-acre homestead. Shelly passed away on November 4, 2024.
Mike worked in the printing industry for 30 years. He loved golfing, fishing and taking care of the homestead.
He was preceded in death by his wife Shelly; and his parents George and Mary Lou.
Mike is survived by his children, Lauren (Kenny) Heller and Casey (Erica) Guyer; grandson, Grayson; his sister Janice (Darwin) King; his brother Randy (Mona) Guyer; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, October 3rd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
Inurnment at later date at Ridgely Cemetery.
