I was able to thankfully meet Ron at the fire station where I worked with his son Michael. I didn’t know him well. He just seemed like a great person. Someone you wanted to sit down with and talk to and get to know...and ask how he was able to raise a family of such amazing people. What was his secret? I didn’t get to ask him that.... but I know his family was so fortunate to have him for the time they did. To glean the knowledge and wisdom and love and the wherewithal to be great. Not a day will go by when you don’t think of him and all the time you spent together. Take care...

Ron was a good trumpeter, football/ basketball player, track star and my best friend the 3 years I was at North Platte.
Band camp in Maryville was memorable as well. I'm sure he'll be remembered for many great attributes by his family and friends for years to come. What a sorrowful loss. Our prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ron trained me at Ameristar Casino many years ago and then we worked together until his retirement. I can honestly say he was one of the best human beings I have met in my 50 years on this earth. Just a genuinely good person. Those of us that had the pleasure of knowing him were blessed.
