I was able to thankfully meet Ron at the fire station where I worked with his son Michael. I didn’t know him well. He just seemed like a great person. Someone you wanted to sit down with and talk to and get to know...and ask how he was able to raise a family of such amazing people. What was his secret? I didn’t get to ask him that.... but I know his family was so fortunate to have him for the time they did. To glean the knowledge and wisdom and love and the wherewithal to be great. Not a day will go by when you don’t think of him and all the time you spent together. Take care...

Ron was a good trumpeter, football/ basketball player, track star and my best friend the 3 years I was at North Platte. Band camp in Maryville was memorable as well.
