Gloria Stahl
Gloria J. Stahl age 83 of Camanche, IA, passed away January 15th, 2026 at her home in Smithville, MO.
Gloria was born in Clinton on April 23, 1942, the daughter of Paul and Louise (Duncan) Wernick. Gloria worked at the Clinton Garment Company, McEleny Motor Company and Swiss Colonies. She was highly creative and loved macramé, needlepoint, knitting, quilting, ceramics, and had an infectious laugh that garnered many friends that loved her dearly.
She is survived by three children: Richard Stahl (Theresa) of Albany, IL, Michael Stahl of Clinton, IA and Douglas Stahl (Sandra) of Smithville, MO; her sisters Leanna (Neil) Wilson of Fairfield, CA, Renee Ottens of Clinton, and Tina (Mark) Ihringer of Williston, ND. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Bill and Terry Wernick.
In following Gloria’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.

Prayers and love sent to all the family. I wish I lived closer. She was a good person., always full of life We always had fun during our school times. I moved away and lost touch with everybody. . God wrap your arms around me take her home. God bless you out.Nancy Bradley.
