In Remembrance Of

Clinton Mullendore
Clinton Mullendore, 83, of Dearborn, MO passed away from his earthly life to his heavenly home on March 15, 2026.
He was born to Lloyd Clinton and Reta Pruella (Davis) Mullendore on September 11, 1942. He attended school at North Platte and graduated in 1961. While there he played football and participated in track and went to state one year in track. He was a member of the FFA and served as sentinel.
Clinton married Donna Lea Spiers on October 17, 1963. They were blessed with three fine sons, Patrick Clinton, Darren Scott, and Lloyd Shawn. They lived and worked together on the family farm south of Dearborn.
Besides his boys who always came first, a love of his was coaching summer baseball. He coached all his son’s teams through the years and assisted them at times when they all coached their children.
He loved woodworking as a hobby, and he and Donna spent time at various craft shows selling his wooden items and he loved visiting with the other crafters while there. One of his loves after retiring was teaching a toy woodworking class at summer Vacation Bible School at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
He was a farmer by heart and worked on his farm and worked off the farm. He worked at General Motors in Fairfax, KS BOP Plant. Before retiring he also worked at Buildex and was a member of the Heavy Construction Union 663 while farming and raising a garden. He always enjoyed the guys he worked with and made lots of friends and never knew a stranger.
He helped to form the Boy Scout Troop #744 of Edgerton in the 70’s and served as assistant scout master. He and his boys attended Camp Geiger Boy Scout Camp and was a member of Tribe of Mic-o-say with Wagonmaster as his Native American name.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at a young age and was a member of the Dearborn Chrisitan Church. Later he moved his young family to Edgerton in the later 60’s where he rededicated his life to Christ and joined the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. His young sons each accepted Christ and joined the church.
Clinton was a sweet, loving man with a quick wit and good sense of humor that kept his sons, grandchildren and other family and friends laughing.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Patrick Clinton Mullendore; his parents; sister, Betty Lou (JC) Stubbs; mom and dad, Paul and Euna Spiers; brothers and sisters, Paul (Marcelle), Don (Eveyln), Jimmy, and Kelly Spiers, Darlene (Delbert) Amos, Ruth (Bob) Nelson, Mary (Truby) Lanham, and Ella (Jim) Hackett.
Clinton is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Donna Lea (Spiers) Mullendore; sons, Darren Mullendore and Shawn (Brenda) Mullendore; and daughter-in-law, Michele Mullendore. I am so happy for Clinton and so heart broken for you, Donna, and Darren, Shawn and all of your other family members. He was just the best man to have the privilege to know. His warmth and sense of humor were such pure gifts from God to all who knew him. Thank you all for sharing him with so many others so we could be blessed like you were. Rest in peace, Clinton. We will see you again one day💔.
