Bill Wiseman
William Lewis “Bill” Wiseman, 88, of Kansas City, MO passed away June 21, 2025.
He was born on July 16, 1936, to William Lewis and Mary (Wallace) Wiseman in Oak Grove, MO. Bill grew up and attended school in Climax Springs, MO on the family farm.
Bill retired from Yellow Freight Trucking in 1988. After his retirement Bill and his wife Cathy traveled the United States. They later settled in Holden, MO where Bill and his son Steve built their home and they became members of the Elm Spring Baptist Church. Bill enjoyed fishing and wood carving and he loved watching the Chiefs and Royals.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Fern, Juanita and Norma; his brothers Wesley and Chuck; and his daughter Diana.
Bill is survived by his wife Cathy Wiseman; his children Debbie Lawson and husband Gary, Bill Wiseman and wife Dawn, Bob Wiseman, Steve Ewing and wife Beverly and Marilyn Snyder and husband Steve; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister Shirley; brothers Kenny, Randy and Leroy; other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 28th at 12:00 p.m. at Elm Spring Baptist Church 567 NW 1601st Rd, Kingsville, MO 64061.
Family burial will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Smithville, MO.
In lieu of flowers donations Elm Spring Baptist Church.

I just found out about Bill and so sorry to get the news. Had I known sooner I could have gone to Kingsville. Bill was only 3 years older than I am..
We was first cousins and went to school together in Climax Springs.. We shared lots of memories over the years. My heart goes out to his wife Linda
