Xela MaeLea passed away Friday, June 16th, 2023 at the age of 3 years, 3 months, and 3 days. She was born Friday, March 13th, 2020 in Americus, Georgia. She is the second youngest of 8 siblings.
Xela MaeLea had an undeniable pureness, and her tender love was felt by all she encountered. Xela was an adventurous child, and kept everyone on their toes. She was ornery, in the best way. Her inquisitive nature led to many revelations, and an appreciation for things often overlooked. She particularly had an admiration for picking flowers. She was abundantly vocal from birth, and habitually woke up singing. Xela was nurturing and affectionate towards her family, and always willing to share her love. She was exceptionally creative, and regularly expressed her imagination through art. Xela is the epitome of innocence and light. Her blue eyes were a reminder of the sincere beauty in life. Her smile was radiant, and her laughter was infectious. Xela offered the world a bright, lively, ambitious spirit that will be remembered by all.
Xela MaeLea is survived by mother, Corbyn; siblings: Kora Jean, Elias Ezra, Julina Ann, Estin Steiger, Livia Star, Ezrik Ira, and Enix Reed; grandparents, Julie Martin and Rick Reynolds; in addition to many other relatives and loved ones.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 30th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
