Winifred Maxine Corkins

 Winifred Maxine Corkins, 95, of Faucett, MO passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017.
 
She was born on April 12, 1922 to John and Carrie Ann (Lyons) Grable near Dearborn, MO where she grew up and attended rural school.  
 
On August 3, 1940 she was united in marriage to Clifford Corkins.  After their marriage they lived in the Faucett area where they made their home.   Clifford passed away on April 18, 2007.
 
She was a member of the Faucett Baptist Church.  Winnie enjoyed playing guitar alongside her husband Clifford playing the fiddle and other instruments, as well as with her brothers and sisters and other family and friends.  She was also a longtime member of the Gower Goodtimers.
 
Winifred was also preceded in death by her son Stanley Corkins, grandson Jonathan Judkins; son-in-law Pat Karl; brothers Steve, Joe and Robert Grable and sisters Ruby Richardson, Faye Baber, Helen Jean Anderson, and Anna Mae Griggs.
 
She is survived by her children Sharon (Rick) Lisenbee, Karen Karl, Kenneth (Janice) Corkins and Verla Corkins (Roger Wiedmaier); daughter-in-law Glenda Corkins; 16 grandchildren Bill, Mary, Wayne, Russell, Martha, Troy, Todd, Angie, Jimmy, Brandi, Kristi, Shelley, Patrick, Jr., Jason, Marci, and Chris; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; sister Beverly Nieman and husband Stan; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.  
 
Funeral Services:  2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 4th at the Faucett Baptist Church 
Burial:  Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph, MO 
Visitation:  6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 3rd at the church.
Donations to the church.
