Wilma Pigg
Wilma Jean Pigg, 85, of Smithville, MO passed away, January 21, 2022.
She was born on May 6, 1936 to Garland Winford and Julia Mae (Shannon) McClain in Trimble, MO. She graduated from Smithville High School.
On March 2, 1956 she was united in marriage to Earl Seevers and they had a daughter, Pam. They lived in Smithville and he preceded her in death on January 28, 1961. On October 6, 1961 she married Elbert Pigg. They had a daughter, Judy, and made their home in Smithville. They later divorced. Wilma Jean worked at the Barry Christian Church Daycare until she retired to care for her mother.
She was a member of the Trimble Baptist Church. Wilma Jean enjoyed bowling and playing softball and cards.
Wilma Jean was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Myrtle Reineke.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam Wisecup (Darin Woodward) and Judy (Jim) Roberts; grandchildren, Allison, Wisecup, Amber (Ben) Marx, and Shannon (Phil) Elbert; great-grandchildren, Maggie, Kasen, Lucy, Henry, and baby Marx; other relatives and many friends.
Private Family Services will be held.
Inurnment: Community of Smithville Memorial Cemetery.
