Wilma Grace Lincoln
Wilma Grace Lincoln, 77, of Platte City, MO, formerly of Oregon, MO passed away Monday, October 15, 2007 at Golden Living Center in Smithville, MO.
She was born on February 6, 1930 to George Washington, Sr. and Dora Grace (Fultz) Grimes in Forbes, MO where she grew up and attended school.
On May 4, 1956 she was united in marriage to Paul Alvin “Wart” Lincoln. After their marriage they lived near King City, MO until 1958 when they moved near Oregon, MO where they made their home. In 1986 they moved near Platte City, MO. Her husband preceded her in death on January 21, 1989.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Oregon. Wilma was an avid gardener and loved to can.
Wilma was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, George Grimes, Jr. and two sisters, Elizabeth Pearl Lincoln and Fernie Noland.
She is survived by one son, Rodney Lincoln and wife, Tuesday, Savannah, MO; two daughters, Betty Cregger and husband, Bob, Platte City, MO and Lynda Mackey, Polo, MO; six grandchildren, Lacey, Terri, Paula, Lincoln, Ashleigh, and Eli; three sisters, Edith Sipes, Oregon, MO, Mary Miller and husband, Paul, Cameron, MO, and Shirley Hunziger and husband Tom, Oregon, MO, several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 17th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower
Burial: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Maple Grove Cemetery, Oregon, MO
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kendallwood Hospice.
