WILLIAM ?BILL? ROGERS

William Carl ?Bill? Rogers, 62, of Smithville, Mo., passed away, Monday, July 4, 2005 at his home.

He was born on May 11, 1943 to Arthur Delmar and Ruth (Spoolier) Rogers in the Nashua Community where he grew up and attended school.

On November 17, 1961 he was united in marriage to E. Kay Mauzey. After their marriage they moved to the Smithville area where they made their home.

Bill worked for Pratt and Lambert Paint Company for 17 years and later as a supervisor for Tnemec Paint Company, both in North Kansas City.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Vernon, David Joe, and Buddy and one sister, Kathy Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Kay of the home, one daughter, Cindy Smith and husband, Robert, Lathrop, Mo., son, Danny Rogers, Smithville, Mo., three grandchildren, Nathan, Amy and Ashley, two great-grandchildren, Mckayla and Jayden, his mother-in-law, Jeanette Mauzey, Smithville, Mo., one brother, Cecil ?Pete? Rogers, Smithville, Mo., three sisters, Lee Faulkner, Kansas City, Mo., Shirley Knox, Platte City, MO., and Sharon Cummings, Kansas City, Mo, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday July 7th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO.
Burial: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithville, Mo.
Visitation: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Smithville.
