William “Bill” F. Douglas
William “Bill” Franklin Douglas, 66, of Kansas City, MO, passed away, Thursday, June 7, 2007.
He was born on January 24, 1941 to Walter W. and Mary Ellen (Andrews) Douglas in
Athens, Ohio where he grew up and attended school. He later served his country in
the U.S. Army and in 1970 moved to the Kansas City area.
Bill was an over the road truck driver for 30 years and later a bus driver for the KCI
Airport Aviation Department in Kansas City, retiring in 1999.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Beth Douglas.
Bill is survived by his wife, Judith of the home; son, William E. Douglas, Rapid City, South Dakota; daughter, Michele S. Allison, Shawnee, KS; three grandchildren, Chloe Allison, Levi Allison and Zachary Douglas; brother, Dale Lamar Douglas;
sisters, Jenny May Graham and Melody Peterson; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
VISITATION: 3:00- 5:00 P.M., Sunday, June 10th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral
