Wes Yager
Wesley Russell Yager, 63, of St. Joseph, MO passed away, August 24, 2023.
He was born August 23, 1960 to Monte Dee Sr and Pat Ruth (Lane) Yager in St. Joseph, MO. He grew up in St. Joseph and graduated Lafayette High School.
In 1984 he was united in marriage to Dina Nelson. After their marriage they lived in St. Joseph and had two children.
Wes worked at Continental Screw Conveyor in St. Joseph for over 20 years and retired from Summit Truck Bodies in Wathena, KS. He was an avid outdoorsman and a car and truck enthusiast.
Wes was preceded in death by his mother and his daughter, Christine Marie Yager.
He is survived by his son, Cole Yager; father, Monte Yager, Sr; brother, Monte Yager, Jr and wife, Becky; grandson, Andrew Bennett; former wife, Dina Yager; several nieces; other relatives and friends.
Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31st at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Gower.
