Wendell D. Lowry

Wendell D. Lowry, 80, of Garland, Texas, formerly of Kansas City, Mo., passed away, Wednesday, February 21, 2007.

He was born on January 24, 1927 to Earl D. and Nellie (Darroh) Lowry in Warrensburg, Mo., where he grew up, graduated from High School and attended college. Wendell later moved to Kansas City, Mo., and in 2003 he moved to Texas.

He worked for American Can Company in Kansas City for 43 years.

He is survived by two daughters; Pamela Lowry, Garland, Texas and Kellie Stratman and husband Dennis, of Smithville, and one granddaughter, Christina Stratman.

Inurnment will be held at a later date at Second Creek Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo. Arrangements; Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, Mo.
