Wayne Waters
David Wayne Waters, 57 of Smithville, MO passed away, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at KU Medical Center.
He was born on April 29, 1955 to David Woodson and Patsy R. (Allen) Waters in Cameron, MO. He grew up in Smithville and graduated from Smithville High School. He then served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He enjoyed watching sports and Nascar, and loved spending time with his daughter and granddaughter.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father and brother, Daniel Craig Waters.
Survived by his daughter, Heather; granddaughter, Hallie; mother, Patsy Waters, siblings, Debra Ray and husband Rick, Annettte Davis and husband Chuck, Kenneth Waters, Steven Waters and wife Brenda and Rita Joy and husband Kevin; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and many friends.
Visitation: 12:00-2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, with Graveside Service and Military Honors following at Smithville Memorial Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Smithville American Legion.
