Wanda Jocye (Duzan) Burchette

Wanda Joyce Burchette, 73 of Kansas City, MO passed away, Sunday, May 3, 2015.

She was born on October 11, 1941 to Harold and Hazel (Teague) Duzan.

On December 29, 1962 she was united in marriage to Dwight Paul Burchette. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City where they made their home. Her husband, Paul, passed away July 10, 1992.

Wanda worked for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City.

Wanda was also preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Shane Burchette.

She is survived by her daughter, Monique Farnsworth; granddaughters, Felicia and Dezerai Farnsworth; great-grandsons, Taâ??Shawn Clark and Taysen Farnsworth; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 6th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville with visitation following at the funeral home.

Burial: 10:00 a.m. Thursday Smithville Memorial Cemetery
