Walter George Weller

Walter George Weller, 73, of Smithville, MO, formerly of Sedalia, MO passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015.

He was born on November 26, 1941 to George Raymond and Martha Louise (Miller) Weller in Windsor, MO.  Walt grew up in Green Ridge, MO and later graduated from Towanda High School in Towanda, KS. 

Walt was married to Myrna and to this union they had two children, Walter, JR. and Amber Beth.  On April 27, 1968 Walt was united in marriage to Judy Rasco.  To this union three children, Stephanie, Doug and Dara were born.  They lived in Gladstone, MO, in 1977 they moved to Sedalia and in 2011 they moved to Smithville.

Walt was an over the road truck driver for over 40 years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kathy Travnicek.

Walt is survived by his wife Judy; children, Walter ?Wally? Weller, Amber ?Sissy? Emerson and husband Ken, Stephanie Weller, Doug Weller and wife Kristi, Dara Adams and husband Scott; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Joe Weller and wife Karolee; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.  

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 5^th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
