Virginia Reeves Justice
Jaunita Virginia Reeves-Justice, 91, of Smithville, MO passed away Monday, October 22, 2012.
She was born on October 4, 1921 to Ollie Franklin and Gladys Mae (Ford) Warren in Clay County where she grew up and graduated from Smithville High School in 1939.
Virginia retired in 1981 from the Smithville School District as the secretary to the Superintendent and Board of Education.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Smithville.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence Reeves and brother Donald F. Warren.
She is survived by her daughter Carolyn DeCet and husband Larry, Clinton County; grandchildren, Clint Guthrie, Parker, CO, Michelle LeDoux, Clinton County, MO; great-grandchildren, Rachel Guthrie, Walker Guthrie, Lacee Ritter, and Lindsay Spencer; great-great-granddaughter, Kailani Hayden; brother Richard Warren; sister-in-law, Jackie Warren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Burial: Smithville Memorial Cemetery
