Virginia Morgan, 91, of Kansas City, MO passed away, Friday, November 27, 2020.
Anna Virginia Morgan was born on November 8, 1929 to Lloyd and Betty (Gilliam) Cox in Brunswick, MO where she grew up and attended school.
On November 6, 1949 she was united in marriage to Ralph Vernon Fletcher. After their marriage they lived in Brunswick, Marshall, Mexico, Carrolton, and Kansas City, KS. Her husband, Ralph, preceded her in death on November 7, 1987. On December 21, 1996 she married Lemly Dyess Morgan. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City, MO. He passed away, October 6, 2020.Virginia worked for International Shoe Factory in Marshall, MO and was a grocery store clerk. She also worked at Nelly-Don, Hal-Hardin Apparel and Sears in Kansas City.
Virginia was a member of the Living Church of God in Kansas City, MO.
She is survived by her children, Ronnie Fletcher and Joyce (Don) Webster; six grandchildren, Michael Webster, Donald Webster II, Jennifer McGlaughlin, Leon Webster, Ronnie Fletcher II, and Shawn Fletcher; and thirteen great-grandchildren, a sister, Mary Ellen Enyeart; brother, Virgil Cox; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 6th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
Private Family Burial at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
