Virgil Richard Archdekin

Virgil Richard Archdekin, 66, of Agency, MO went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 13, 2015.

 

He was born on March 4, 1948 to Virgil V. and Hilda P. (Otte) Archdekin in St. Joseph, MO.  He grew up in rural Agency, MO and in 1966 graduated from Easton High School.

 

On September 12, 1970 he was united in marriage to Sheryl Ann Kerns.  After their marriage they lived in rural Agency where they farmed and made their home.

 

Virgil was a member of the Frazier Baptist Church.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Carolyn L. Brown and nephew Scott G. Brown.

 

Virgil is survived by his wife Sheryl Archdekin; son, Kyle Archdekin and wife Jennifer; daughter, Lynette Conard and husband Craig; grandchildren, Hannah, Abigail, Ellyonna, and Annamaria; brothers, Tom Archdekin and wife Patricia and Jerry Archdekin and wife Joy; father-in-law and mother-in-law Lowell and Donna Kerns; brothers-in-law, Randy Kerns and wife Cherie and Jerry Brown; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 

Funeral Service:  11:00 a.m. Friday, January 16th at Frazier Baptist Church

Burial: Frazier Cemetery

Visitation:  6:00-8:30 p.m. Thursday, January 15th at Frazier Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Frazier Baptist Church.

    Virgil was a wonderful human being. He always made my day when he would come into the office each month. He would just sit and visit with everyone, telling jokes or stories about his childhood and would just smile and laugh the way he did that made him look so mischievous.
    I am so sorry for your loss and you all are in my thoughts and prayers. He will be missed greatly.
