Victoria Dennis
Vicki Dennis, 60, of Dearborn, MO, passed away, Saturday, July 16, 2011.
She was born on July 6, 1951 to Ralph Walter “Bud” and Alma Irene “Oppie” (Babcock) Edwards in Smithville, MO. She attended school grade school in Dearborn and graduated from Platte County High School. Vicki then received her degree in cosmetology.
On September 5, 1981 she was united in marriage to Richard Lee Dennis. After their marriage they lived in Dearborn and later moved to the Wallace area.
Vicki worked as a floral designer, spent many years as a tobacco hand, and recently worked for Sara Lee Foods in St. Joseph.
She was a member of the Camden Point Christian Church, where she was involved in Vacation Bible School and assisted with many church activities.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Richard, of the home; two daughters, Jennifer Flint, Warrensburg, MO and Leah Dennis, Dearborn, MO; grandchildren, Dennis, Tonya, Aubrey, and Richard Miller; brother, Rick Edwards and wife Jan, Platte City, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Camden Point Christian Church with visitation from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Donations may be made to the church.
