VERNIE HALL

Vernie Hall, 96, of St. Joseph, MO, formerly of Gower, MO, passed away, Monday, November 6, 2006.

She was born on April 24, 1910 to Thomas Dowell and Annie Auxier near Gower, where she grew up and graduated from Gower High School.

In 1939 she was united in marriage to Henry J. Hall. After their marriage they lived in St. Joseph. He preceded her in death in 1973.

Vernie worked for Quaker Oats, the S.S. Kresge?s Store, and retired from Mead after 29 years.

She was a member of the 25 year Club at Mead, and a member of the Graphic Arts Union.

Vernie was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Erven L. Auxier, Jewell ?Speck? Auxier, Gene Auxier, and Joe Auxier; three sisters, Mary Lou Auxier, Georgia Gipson, and Ethel Delaney.

Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 8th at Allen Cemetery, Gower.
Visitation: one hour prior to the service at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
