VERA E. STANTON

Vera Elaine Stanton, 68, of Agency, Mo., passed away Thursday, August 18, 2005.

She was born on February 7, 1937 to Lawrence and Edna L. (Norris) Hill in Wallace, Mo., where she grew up and in 1955, graduated from Faucett High School.

On September 12, 1958 she was united in marriage to Stanley T. Stanton. After their marriage they lived near Agency where they made their home.

Vera was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was also an accountant for fifteen years.

She was a member of the Agency Christian Church where she was a song leader.

Vera was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley, of the home, three daughters, Deborah Lynn Witten and husband, Steven, Branford, CT, Lorrie Ann Smiley and husband, Stephen, and Susan Marie Felling, Agency, MO, one son, Danny Lee Stanton and wife, Amy, Savannah, MO, seven grandchildren, Charles, Stefanie, Joshua, Adam, Brett, Ashley, and Brad, her mother, Edna Hill, Gower, MO, one brother, Larry Hill, Polo, MO, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 20th at the Agency Christian Church, Agency, MO.
Burial: Agency Cemetery
Visitation: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday at the church.

Donations may be made to the Agency Christian Church or Rheumatoid Arthiritis Foundation.
