Vera Christina (Ruud) Karl

Vera
Karl, 76, of Plattsburg, MO passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at her home.

She
was born on July 7, 1939 to Kolbjorn and Nora (Vestros) Ruud in Oslo, Norway.
She grew up in Norway and moved to United States when she was 28.

On
November 7, 1967 she was united in marriage to Francis George Karl, Jr.  After their marriage they lived near Hemple
and made their home in rural Plattsburg. 
They had eight children. 

Vera
worked for several nursing homes in the area for over 40 years.

She
was a member of St. Annââ?¬â?¢s Catholic Church in Plattsburg. 

Vera
was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sally Ann Karl, and grandson,
Joshua Ruud.

She
is survived by her husband, Francis Karl, Jr.; children, Trond Ruud, Linda (Ed)
Obermier, Terri (Mike) Todd, Dean Ruud, David (Sara) Ruud, Kandy Lynn, April
Karl, Cindy Karl, Angie (Steve) Hinson, Francis III (Jamie) Karl, Travis
(Jamie) Karl, Quell Karl; grandchildren, TJ, KC, Dillon, Brandon, Annalise,
Tucker, Trevor, Ashley, Conner, Morgan, Macy, Berlyn, Braylea, Haleigh, Decker;
three great-grandchildren; brother, Knut Ruud; other relatives and many friends.

Mass
of Christian Burial:  11:00 a.m. Tuesday,
July 28^th at St. Ann�s Catholic Church in Plattsburg, MO.

Burial:  Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gower.

Rosary:  6:00 p.m. Monday at the church with
visitation following until 8:00.
