Troy L. Meek
Troy Meek, 46 of Smithville, MO passed away, January 18, 2017 peacefully at his home with his family.
He was born on July 29, 1970 to Caryle and Glenda Sue (Fales) Meek in Smithville, MO. Troy grew up in Smithville and graduated from Smithville High School in 1988.
On October 13, 1990 he was united in marriage to Allison Asher. After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home.
Troy worked for Ford Motor Company for over 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue and uncle, James Meek.
Troy is survived by his wife, Allison; children, Linsey Pflugradt and husband Jason, Cody Meek, and Caleb Meek; his father, Caryle Meek; brother Scott Meek and wife Pam; mother-in-law Judy Asher and Bert Pierson; brothers-in-law, Dan Asher and wife Vicki and Don Asher; his dog, Bella; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21st at the First Baptist Church in Smithville with visitation from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
The family suggests donations to the Troy Meek Scholarship Fund c/o Citizens Bank and Trust.

Troy will be missed. I thank God for crossing our paths. I saw on his Facebook page about the biscuits and gravy and it bought back memories Corner Cafe the Big B we had that for breakfasts at work numerous times and yes biscuits and gravy is a meal.RIP my friend you left a lasting impression on me and so many others.
