Trevor Teel

Trevor Teel, 50, of Kansas City, MO passed away, March 1, 2019.

He was born on June 23, 1968 to Robert Edward and Luellyn Leann (Carter) Teel in Kansas City, MO. Trevor grew up in Excelsior and Gladstone and graduated from Oak Park High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from CMSU.

On January 6, 1995 he was united in marriage to Rites Ealey. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City where they made their home.

He worked for MVS Systems and provided service in the Metro for over 30 years. He was destined to run the company upon his father’s retirement.

Trevor was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lowell and Geraldine Teel and William and Marie Carter; mother-in-law, Edith Newberry.

He is survived by his wife, Rites, of the home; children, Shila Dunkin, Seanna Dunkin, and Gage Teel; grandchildren, Genny, Cambria, Joel, and Mia; parents, Bob and Luellyn Teel; sister, Tara Jordan; brother-in-law, Matt Jordan; niece and nephew, Kelsie Jordan and Hank Jordan; uncle, and fellow collogue Randy; uncles, Jack, and Greg Teel, and Douglas Carter; brothers-in-law, Danny, Marvin, and Jeremy Ealey; friends, Trisha Foxworthy, Buffi Tessandori, and Deana Merryman other relatives and many friends. 

Memorial Service: 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, with visitation from 5:30-7:00 p.m. prior to the service. 

 Celebration of Life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Megan’s Paws and Claws or Northcare Hospice.
