Travis Jeremy Wilson

Travis Jeremy Wilson, 26, of Smithville, MO passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 as the result of an auto accident.

He was born on January 27, 1989 to Bart Wilson and Cynthia (Garrett) Wilson Mead in Kansas City, MO. Travis grew up in north east Kansas City and later moved to Smithville where he graduated from Smithville High School in 2007.

He was currently working for MTS Contracting in North Kansas City, MO. Travis was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He loved his family, friends and especially his dog Gus. Travis was always willing to help people out, he had a million dollar smile and was always making people laugh.

Travis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey Wayne Garrett and Anita Ilene Wilson.

He is survived by his father Bart Wilson; his mother and step-father Cindy and Mark Mead; brother Steven Wilson; sister Stephanie Wilson; step-brothers Jeremiah Mead and Gabe Thompson; grandmother Deloris Garrett; nieces MJ Wilson, and Kailey and Abby Wood; nephew Dustin Cox; aunts and uncles, Sheila and Mike Hill, Ginger and Bobby Ward, Chris Mustard, Amber Mustard, Brett Wilson, Rex Wilson, Tim and Julie Garrett and Stephen Garrett; his dog /son Gus; best friend Ryan Hartley; and many cousins and friends.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 18th at with visitation following until 1:00 p.m. all at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville
