Tony Johnson

Tony Johnson, 65 of Gower MO, formerly of Edgerton, MO passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at his home. 

 
Tony Allen Johnson was born on July 20, 1952 to Robert Earl and Juanita Ruth (Harris) Johnson in Borger, Texas. 

He grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Ruskin High School.  Tony then served his country in the U.S. Army.  After his honorable discharge he worked as a civilian for the State of Illinois at Camp Lincoln.  After his retirement he moved to Edgerton, and later Gower.

     

Tony loved watching sports on TV and was a Royals and Chiefs Fan. But, as everyone knows his favorite team was the Chicago Cubs, and his favorite college team was the Illinois Fighting Illini. 

Tony enjoyed fishing, golfing, spending time at the lake with his family and socializing with friends and a cold Bud.

      

He is survived by his mother, Juanita Driver; sons, Tony Johnson, Jr. and Nick Johnson; daughters, Christy Johnson and Samantha Brown; fourteen grandchildren; brother, Robert Johnson; sisters, Gail Crow and Kathy Raymore; other relatives and many friends.

 

The family will receive friends 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20th at RBI’s Lounge, Gower.
