Tommy Reisinger
Tommy Reisinger, 82, of Plattsburg, MO, formerly of Topeka, KS, passed away, Monday, March 26, 2007 at his home.
He was born on October 31, 1924 to Frank James and Amelia (Miller) Reisinger in Las Animas, Colorado, where he grew up and attended school. Tommy also lived in Smithville, MO, Trimble, MO, Havensville, KS, and Topeka, KS.
He farmed for many years, and in 1989 retired from Stormont Vail Hospital in maintenance in Topeka.
Tommy was a member of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Mark, great-grandson, Jessie, and son-in-law, Glenn Ward, and eight brothers and sisters.
Tommy is survived by his children, Janie Benton, Smithville, MO, Tom Reisinger and wife, Peggy, Kansas City, KS, Kim Alexander, Gower, MO, and Kris Ward, Plattsburg, MO; their mother, Deanie Woolsey, Smithville, MO; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; special friend, Norma Risley, Topeka, KS; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 30th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
Burial: Ridgely Cemetery
Rosary: 6:30 p.m. Thursday with visitation following until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral
home.
