Todd Alan Hemshrot, 44, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010.
He was born on February 6, 1966 in Maryville, MO to George Robert and Alice Joann (Crawford) Hemshrot where he grew up. He attended grade school in Maryville, MO and later attended Park Hill and Smithville School Districts.
Todd worked for Burlu Paper Products in Kansas City, MO and Sears Logistics near Parkville, MO as shipping receiving clerk.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Opha and Hazel Crawford and George and Harriett Hemshrot, two uncles, Dale Crawford and Forrest Crawford.
Todd is survived by his mother Alice Moats and husband, Jim, Smithville, MO; children, Heather Hemshrot, Falls City, NE, and Ryan and Kyle Hemshrot, Kansas City, MO; two brothers, Steven Hemshrot, Birmingham, MO and David Hemshrot, Kansas City, MO; three step-brothers, Frank Moats and wife, Denise, Kansas City, MO, Jim Moats, Jr. and wife, Michelle, Kansas City, MO and John Moats, Kansas City, MO; step-sister, Deborah Medawar, Phoenix, AZ; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Burial: Smithville Memorial Cemetery
