  • Daddy, you were a remarkable man. I can't imagine what going to heaven and being perfect will be for you. I know Momma can walk and dance again but what could you possibly do that you improves your life. Thank you for ALWAYS being home when you were no at work. Thank you for our restaurant meal on our birthdays.  Hank you for the Sunday afternoon drives that helped Momma not have cabin fever, every possible week. Thank you for driving our Youth for Christ bus on Saturday night so ten or twelve of us school kids could go to rally.Thank you for pulling my 57 Ford blown engine and putting another engine in during my two weeks at home in January, no garage, zero degrees and snow. Thank you for driving 300 miles, after work to me and that blown engine then towing me home 300 Morse. Sorry you couldn't go to work after we got home the next morning, your ONLY day of lost work in your life. Thank you for fixing my kids toys, for making a replacement mallet for the lost kids mallet. Thank you for making a grandma in a wheelchair and grandpa dolls for Tammy's doll house. Thank you for overseeing our house building while I finished grad hours the summer of '89. I really could go on and on. You amaze me.
