Terry McClung
Terry Wayne McClung, 69 of Easton, MO passed away November 5, 2023.
He was born on October 14, 1954, to Robert William and Janice Mary (Butler) McClung in Salem, NJ. Terry grew up in Liberty, MO and in 1973 he graduated from Liberty High School. On April 10, 1976, he was united in marriage to Kathy Chambers. After their marriage they lived in Liberty and Kansas City and in 1987 they moved to rural Easton where they made their home.
Terry retired from A.M. Castle Metals in Kansas City after 40 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being outdoors and camping. Terry loved bluegrass/gospel music, watching the KC Chiefs and most of all spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert McClung and two sisters Mary McClung and Leslie McClung.
Terry is survived by his wife Kathy McClung; children Scott McClung and wife Kathy and Christine Swenson and husband Jeremy; grandchildren Breanne, Lauren, Noah and Liam; his mother Janice McClung; sisters Sharon Shuler and husband Barry, Robin Shaw and Maggie Miller and husband Herb; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 10th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
Burial: Paradise Cemetery, Smithville

I worked at Castle Metals with Terry for 31 years. He was a good brother and hard worker. He loved his family and I enjoyed my time working with Terry and his dad, Bob. Condolences to you, the family.
