Terry Ben Taylor

Terry Ben Taylor, 58, of Gower, Mo., passed away, Friday, December 28, 2007 at his home.

He was born on September 30, 1949 to Ben and Shirley Taylor in St. Joseph, Mo. He grew up around Gower and in 1967 graduated from Gower High School.

Terry Ben then served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Viet Nam War. After his honorable discharge he returned to Gower.

On May 29, 1985 he was united in marriage to Barbara Henry. After their marriage they lived in Gower where they made their home.

Terry Ben was a heavy equipment operator for Herzog in St. Joseph for many years and later did custodial work. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Barb of the home; step-son, Brent Henry, St. Joseph; step-daughters, Leslie Henry, Plattsburg and Nilla Henry, Gower; four grandchildren Josh, Jacob, Anna and John; his parents, Ben and Shirley Taylor, Easton; other relatives and many friends.

Private family inurnment will be held at Keller Cemetery at a later date.
