Terry Ann (Hampton) Thompson

Terry
Ann Thompson, 67, of Easton, MO passed away August 2, 2015.

 

She
was born on March 13, 1948 to Marion Ross and Neva Fay (Terry) Hampton in
Gallatin, MO.
  Terry graduated from
Easton High School in 1966.

 

On
October 27, 1967 she was united in marriage to Ronald Dean Thompson.
  After their marriage they lived in St. Joseph
and in 1977 moved to Easton where they made their home.
  Her husband Ronnie passed on October 28,
2002.

 

Terry
made a career out of taking care of her family.
 
In her later years she worked at Hy-Vee in St. Joseph.  She had a passion for genealogy and enjoyed
gardening, dancing, music, playing softball and riding motorcycles.
 

 

She
was also preceded in death by her dad Marion Ross Hampton; one granddaughter
Grace Verbick and sister Donna Kay Noland.
 

 

Terry
is survived by her children Ronald Todd Thompson and wife Penni, Lesa DeAnn
Verbick and husband Damon and Lauren Nicole Gannaway and husband Robert;
grandchildren Madelyn, Nickolas, Chandler, Emily, Kris, Joanna, Chloe, Julia,
Tommy, Willow, and Finn; great-grandson Liam; her mother Neva (Terry) McKinnon; sister Mary Jo Siela; several
nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
 

 

Memorial
Services:  
4:00
p.m. Sunday, August 9
th at The Edge, 5801 S. King Hill, St. Joseph
with visitation following until 6:30 p.m.

Donations
may be made to the YWCA Women’s Shelter.

Arrangements:  Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.

    I have many memories of Terri, as well as Ronnie. My parents were close friends with them when my brother and I were young, and we played with Lesa, and Todd.
