Teresa Ann (Richey) Pemberton

Teresa Ann Pemberton, 56, of Kansas City, MO, passed away, Saturday, February 2, 2008 at her home.

She was born on June 1, 1951 to George Alan and Dorothy Alene (Bowles) Richey in Liberty, where she grew up, and graduated from Liberty High School.

On May 28, 1977 she was united in marriage to Daniel Lee Pemberton. After their marriage they lived in the Kansas City area where they made their home.

Teresa was a homemaker, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her father and father-in-law, Ruben Pemberton.

She is survived by her husband, Danny, of the home; children, Candace DaSilva and husband, Regis, Overland Park, Kansas, Derek Pemberton and wife, Tonja, Platte City, and Kira Hall and husband, Kent, Kansas City; grandchildren, Daniel, Layla, Chance, Erica, and Cambria; her mother, Dorothy Richey, Liberty; one brother, Galen Richey and wife, Marie, Liberty; two sisters, Charlotte Alsin and husband, Donnie, Kansas City, and Brenda Bricker, Gladstone; her mother-in-law, Lettie Pemberton, Smithville; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 6^th at the First Baptist Church in Smithville.

Burial: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithvillle.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
