Sylvia Kay Stagner
Sylvia Kay Stagner, 67, of Smithville, MO passed away Friday February 9, 2018.
She was born on February 13, 1950 to Joseph Elijah and Will Ellen (Herdman) Stagner in St. Joseph, MO. Sylvia grew up in Smithville and graduated from Smithville High School. She made her home in Smithville.
She was baptized near Smithville Lake in 1983.
Sylvia worked at Venture in Northtown, flowers shops, Morton’s Dry Goods and Super 8 Motel all in Smithville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother George Everett Stagner.
Sylvia is survived by her sister Jo Ellen Stubbs, of the home; aunt Frances Benner, Kansas City, MO; several cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Inurnment: Ridgely Cemetery
