Sue (Vanblaracum) Kerns
Sue Kerns, 63, of Paradise Road near Smithville, MO formerly of Kearney, MO, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007 at her home.
Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
On August 28, 1965 she married and had two children, Tracy and Mark. Several years later she divorced. On February 11, 1988 she married Ken Kerns and she helped raise his son Jared Kerns.
She was preceded in death by a sister Gail Hundley.
She is survived by her husband Ken of the home, one brother J.D. VanBlaracum and wife Teddy, three children, Tracy and husband Mace Wilson, Kearney, Mark and wife Debbie Kerns, Barry, IL, and Jared and wife Amanda Kerns, Trimble, MO; three grandchildren, Lacey and Morgan Wilson and Alicia Kerns.
