Sue Carroll (Odom) Cordova

Sue Carroll Cordova, 58, of Smithville, MO, passed away, Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at her home.

She was born November 2, 1948 to Don Carroll and Elsie (Painter) Odom in Kansas City, Kansas. She grew up in Salina, Kansas. Sue later graduated with honors from UMKC where she was a member of the Phi Sigma Phi Sorority.

On January 25, 1986 she was united in marriage to Fredrick Cordova. After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home.

Sue was a volunteer for Goodwill in Smithville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Connie Miller, and two brothers, Mark Odom and Lance Odom.

Sue is survived by her husband, Fred, of the home; two sons, Brock C. Niehaus and wife, Shevonne, and Brandon P. Niehaus; step son, Timothy Cordova and wife, Bobbi and Anthony Cordova and wife, Beth; grandchildren, Tommie, Jordan, Tiffany, Dillon, Rebecca, Anthony, and Justin; two sisters, Mary Klicke, Vancouver, WA, and Cathy Souders, Polkville, NC, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 10^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
