Steven Mark Hutchens

Steven Mark Hutchens, of Kansas City, MO passed away, Sunday, July 22, 2012.

He was born on April 12, 1964 to John Calvin and Beverly Lea (Price) Hutchens in Polk, Iowa. He graduated from Savannah High School in Savannah. He then attended Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph.

Steve lived in Kansas City where he worked for Bel Fonte Ice Cream, Hample Oil, and R & D Tool CO.

He loved cooking, Nascar, was a fan of Tony Stewart, and also enjoyed swap meets on the weekends. Steve was known for his sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Steve is survived by his two sons, Ryan Hutchens, Kansas City, MO and Derek Hutchens of home; granddaughter, Ryleigh; mother, Beverly Hutchens, New Smyrna Beach FL; brother, Craig Hutchens, Chicago, IL; other relatives and many friends.

Visitation: 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
