Stanley Eugene Corkins

Stanley Eugene Corkins, 71, of Bridger, MT, formerly of Faucett, MO passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at his home Bridger.

He was born on November 26, 1941 to Clifford and Winifred (Grable) Corkins in Kansas City, MO.  Stan grew up in the Faucett area and graduated from Faucett High School.

On May 20, 1971 he was united in marriage to Glenda LeClare.  After their marriage they lived in the Faucett area and in 2011 they moved to Bridger, MT. 

Stan was an over the road truck driver and later owned and operated Stan’s Garage in Faucett.  He enjoyed working on old cars, trucks, tractors and steam engines. He was a member of the St. Joseph Yacht Club, loved flying airplanes and riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

Stan was a member of the Faucett Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge and the Faucett Lions Club. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Corkins.

Stan is survived by his wife Glenda; children, Bill Nelson, Mary Flinn, Wayne Corkins,  Russell Corkins and Martha Corkins; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his mother, Winifred Corkins; three sisters, Karen Karl, Sharon Lisenbee and Verla Corkins; one brother Kenneth Corkins; several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. 

Funeral Services:  11:00 a.m. Friday March 15^th at the Faucett Baptist Church

Burial:  Faucett Cemetery

Visitation:  6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday also at the church.
