In the own words of Eric, our son, “Miss Harless was such a great person!”. To have a former Jr. High English student say that of Shirley should say it all! She was a friend to all, would greet you with a smile and cheer, always carried that optimism in her outlook of life. She will be missed here on earth. May our Lord Jesus fold his loving arms around her now. Our condolences to her family that she loved so much!

I was saddened to hear about Shirley. I have many memories as a kid with your family at Shady Lake. Shirley was a wonderful woman and will be remembered fondly. I cannot tell you how much it meant to my family, The Creasons, to spend many weekends there. I will keep your family in my thoughts.

The entire time I worked with Mindy, I admired her parents so much for the kind of person she had become. I will always cherish Mindy as a friend. She is truly a wonderful person and the entire family will continue to be in my prayers.
