Shirley Ann (Salyer) Moreland

Shirley Moreland, 80, of Camdenton, MO formerly of Kearney and Smithville passed away, March 17, 2016.

She was born on December 25, 1935 to Charles Wesley and Frances (Schroeder) Salyer in Higginsville, MO.  Shirley grew up in Smithville where she attended school and graduated from Smithville High School.

Shirley lived in Smithville and Kearney, was a homemaker and raised her children.  In 1970 she received her cosmetology license and became an awesome beautician. In 1992 Shirley moved to Camdenton at the Lake of the Ozarks where she owned and operated the 5-81 Motel and Mobile Home Park.  Shirley enjoyed cooking for her many friends and family.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Smithville.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Vicki Moreland-Weldishofer and Laura Moreland; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial Service: 6:00 p.m Saturday, March 26th at First Christian Church in Smithville.

Inurnment:  Smithville Memorial Cemetery
