Sherman Lee Harding

Sherman Lee Harding, 60, of Smithville, MO formerly of Gladstone, MO and Columbia, MO, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at his home.

He was born on September 14, 1953 to Lafayette J. and Ruby Jean (Hartley) Harding in Gridley, California.  Sherman grew up and attended school in Gladstone, MO, he later lived in Columbia, MO and in 1993 he moved to Smithville.

Sherman enjoyed repairing and customizing guitars and working with electronics. 

He was preceded in death by his father Lafayett;  brother James Harding and his step-father Donald Capper.

Sherman is survived by his mother Ruby Jean Capper; brothers, Daniel Capper and Jack Capper; sister Patricia Ibarra; adopted daughter Kelly Barnes; special friend Pattie Bishop; several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. 

A private family service will be held at a later date.
