Sharon Ann Decker

Sharon Ann Decker, 67, of Gower, MO, passed away on August 21, 2012 at Oakridge of Plattsburg Nursing Home.

She was born on April 23, 1945 in St. Joseph, MO. Sharon Ann grew up in Gower and graduated from Gower High School in 1964. She then attended Platte Guard Business School in St. Joseph.

Sharon Ann retired from the Missouri State Hospital in St. Joseph after 30 years. She was a member of the Gower Christian Church. Sharon Ann was an avid sports fan, a huge Elvis fan, loved country music and visiting with friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Lloyd Decker, her mother, Anna Belle Musser and her beloved dogs, Tippy, Rusty, Dusty, and Scooter.

Sharon Ann is survived by one sister, Connie Sitton and husband Fred; brother, Mike Musser and wife Katie; her dad Junior Musser and wife Roxie; aunt Dorothy Gray and husband Ronnie; nieces Nicole Farr, Stacey Sandoval and husband William, Kim Taber and husband Steve, Paige Holder, Steve Cusick, and Dawn Bobsin and husband Gene; great-nieces Mariesa, Courtney, Cailey, Kaitlyn, and Ashley; great-nephews Zayden, Joseph, Christian, Jarret, Jordie, Skylar, and Justin; numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 24th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower

Burial: Allen Cemetery, Gower

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
